About Hey Champ:
Hey Champ's roots can be traced outside of Chicago in nearby Rockford, where band members Saam Hagshenas (Vocals, Guitar) and Jonathan Marks (Vocals & Drums) discovered their love of music at a young age. After Saam's graduation from law school, the two reunite in Chicago under the Hey Champ moniker. Needing some additional help on the keys, Jonathan calls up his old Princeton chum Pete. The two met as outsiders at one of those tea and crumpet parties where everyone wears blazers and laughs through clenched teeth. The band incorporates influences from disco, house and indie rock, while combining the raw energy of Cheap Trick and the synth-heavy productions of Giorgio Moroder and Trevor Horn.

The band kicked off 2011 by jumping right into the studio with MPG Breakthrough Producer of The Year 2011, Eliot James. With production credits including Two Door Cinema Club's "Tourist History", Bloc Party's "Silent Alarm," and the Kaiser Cheif's "Off With Their Heads", James' previous efforts made him the perfect choice. Hey Champ enjoys crocheting, pottery and antiquing when they are not recording.

About Frank + Derol :
Codi Caraco grew up in Los Angeles. She started writing songs in first grade, around the same time that she came to school singing Smashing Pumpkins. Brandi Cyrus, daughter of Billy Ray, split her childhood between a tour bus and a home in Nashville. t took her until age 18 to pick up the guitar and she signed on as a tour guitarist and never looked back. The girls met five years ago, late one night on a national tour as tour musicians. Codi and Brandi started writing music together, quickly finding that Brandi's folksy, organic sensibilities and love for 90's grunge was the perfect complement to Codi's ear for the off-kilter, structural and strange.

Together they formed FRANK + DEROL. The two of them started playing shows, refining their material and collaborating with other young artists. The result is a phenomenal collection of music headed for EP release in September with a full album set to drop in 2013. Bringing to mind the effortless shimmer of indie-pop artists like Ellie Goulding and Freelance Whales, FRANK + DEROL's debut maintains a dimensionality that leaves the listener with a taste that's better than sweet.
